Artists are sometimes solitary creatures, alone in
our studios creating.  It is  important for artists to
get together and talk, share stories, challenges,
successes.  We find we are not alone after all, and
that our fears and joys are shared by fellow artists.
We become invigorated, anxious to return to our
work with renewed passion and ideas about how
to proceed.
Christine shared her collection of antique quilts
including "Crazy Quilts," and those precious
quilts constructed with food sacks.
One of Christine's early creations
made with her mother's "fancy"
dresses.
A beaded Yoruba crown. . .lest we forget
foundational nuance, style, grace.
