| HOUSE OF DAVID - After School Program Monumental Baptist Church, Pittsburgh, PA |
| In this program, we experimented with two projects. Participants decided to create water color self-portraits or abstract water color images. Both projects employed: hand embroidery (outline, feather and chain stitch), and embellishments like buttons, beads and sequins. The borders are hand sewn onto the middle cloth. Binding is machine stitched and hemmed by hand using a running stitch. |
